Through the generosity of our donors, we have accomplished the following:

Happiness Is Camping in Blairstown, NJ on 145 scenic acres

For twenty-five years, the Laura Rosenberg Foundation has supported HIC with its’ annual Send-A-Kid-To-Camp Program. Cancer patients and their siblings enjoy six fantastic weeks at a beautiful summer camp, tailored to their very special needs. Other contributions have included a playground for children of all ages, golf carts for easier camp mobility, barbecue grills, a gazebo, and a miniature golf course.

Our newest capital improvement project – The Laura Rosenberg Foundation Health Center – will open for the summer of 2006. This year-round handicapped accessible building is designed to serve camper’s medical needs, including bumps, bruises, belly aches, chemotherapy, blood counts, and monitored overnight stays. It will house the medical staff, a conference center, observation and treatment rooms, and have the best medical equipment available for pediatric oncology in a camping setting.
